Short story collection
"We go crazy and we atone."
Short story
When the bells of Yom Kippur rang over the Old City of Jerusalem, the entire city stopped in prayer and repentance. In these paused moments, people meet their past selves—either gazing at a parchment of unknown origin in front of the Western Wall, or reuniting with deceased relatives in an empty market, or a stray cat licking the gravel of the temple ruins, reminding people of a forgotten past. This collection collects seven stories that happened in different eras and corners. They happened on the same day and on the same land. Every soul is looking for forgiveness, but they don't know that some forgiveness never comes from gods, but from ourselves that we will eventually face.
Are you ready for the judgment of these souls?
I like it very much, very beautiful, great
