The Rural Immortal Doctor

Misfortune may be a blessing in disguise. College student Li Xiang is framed, loses his sight, and finds his father paralyzed, but out of this calamity comes good fortune: he inherits the legacy of the Medicine Ancestor. He leaves behind the clamor of the city and puts down roots in a village on the loess plateau. With peerless medical skills, he treats rare and difficult illnesses and humiliates quack doctors and village tyrants. With a guide to getting rich, he grows medicinal herbs, raises golden chickens, builds roads and schools, and leads the villagers out of poverty. In his spare time, he fishes, sees patients, listens to music, climbs mountains, brews tea, and dates the village beauty, living a leisurely rural life everyone envies.
