Monkey King, the Monkey King, wakes up after five hundred years. He is bound to the "Tightening Bureau" system and is forced to embark on the path of seeking scriptures. He doesn't want to go to work but is cursed to collect debts every day. He doesn't want to learn scriptures but is pinched by the system. He is also forced to take a scheming master and a group of sand-sculpting juniors to embark on a hilarious journey of "cultivating immortality in a messy way" in the modern city.
