A Carefree Man of the Zhenguan Era: Raising Sizi in Chang'an

A young man from modern times unexpectedly transmigrates to the Tang dynasty during the Zhenguan era. He has nothing: no System, no pocket dimension, just an ordinary mortal body. He settles on the outskirts of Chang'an, hoping only to live a quiet, peaceful life.

One spring day, he happens upon the infant Princess Jinyang, little Xizi, who is crying inconsolably, and saves her.

Lonely in the imperial palace and yearning for a playmate, the little girl soon becomes a soft, clingy presence in his small courtyard.

He clears land and farms, cooks meals, raises chickens, grows vegetables, and takes care of everyday chores. With his own two hands, he builds a steady life, and with kindness and care, raises little Xizi into a chubby, innocent, and cheerful child.

There are no power struggles or attempts to defy fate, only the warmth of everyday life, the quiet rhythms of country living, and a tender bond that crosses the divide of status.

Watch as an ordinary, carefree idler farms and raises a child in the prosperous Zhenguan era, living in peace and cherishing the simple comforts of life.
