Chairman Pei, Hurry Up and Chase Him!

Age gap + sweet romance + marriage before love + devoted to each other

Fang Ye met Pei Shuxing at a laid-back bar and thought he’d struck an incredible bargain.

He never expected to stumble into a world of privilege and end up paying for it with himself.

At a coworkers’ get-together, Fang Ye got completely drunk.

Everyone egged each other on to play truth or dare. Fang Ye called Pei Shuxing, saved in his contacts as “Big Brother,” and managed to mumble just one word: “Hubby.”

By the time Pei Shuxing arrived, Fang Ye had already been settled into a hotel room that had been booked in advance.

Pei Shuxing gently pinched Fang Ye’s cheek and asked earnestly, “Fang Ye, do you like me?”

“...I... do.”

Pei Shuxing had no idea what kind of liking Fang Ye meant. He simply took it as a sign that Fang Ye had feelings for him.

Pei Shuxing felt that Fang Ye had grown much more distant and seemed distracted. He decided it was time to make their relationship official.

Once everything was ready, he got down on one knee.

“Fang Ye, will you marry me?”

Fang Ye, who had been about to pack up and run away: “?!”
