Undercover in the Demon Sect, the Saintess Wants Me as Cannon Fodder

I infiltrated the Demon Cult as a spy, hoping to lie low until my mission was over, but the cult's saintess dragged me off as cannon fodder to scout the way. After I risked my life to take a blade for her and get her out of a jam, she turned red-eyed and shielded me behind her. “Anyone who wants to touch my man will have to step over my dead body first!” I was dumbfounded. Wasn't I supposed to die for her? Why was the saintess suddenly so devoted to me? The righteous factions are hunting us, and the Demon Cult is in chaos. I'm just a lowly spy, but now I'm bound to the saintess in life and death, and there's no turning back!
