"Crack!"
A crisp sound broke the deathly silence in the living room of the villa.
A document with black and white writing was thrown hard on the coffee table and slid half a meter away. The edge stopped right at Su Wan's hand. There were five bold characters written on it - Divorce Agreement.
Su Wan was holding a semi-wet rag, lowering her head to wipe a water stain on the corner of the coffee table. She paused and didn't look up, just looking at the document quietly. The skin on the back of the hand is a little rough, and there are subtle red marks on the knuckles left from doing housework, which are traces of long-term soaking in detergent.
"Sign it."
The man's voice was so cold that he seemed to be pronouncing an insignificant sentence.
Gu Yeshen stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, facing the light and unable to see his expression clearly. He could only see that the tall and upright figure exuded an inaccessible sense of alienation. The handmade suit he wore was well-tailored, with the word "elite" written on every stitch and thread. It was incompatible with Su Wan's gray T-shirt that had been washed white.
