An ordinary modern office worker is lounging at home when the three senior disciples of Sun Wukong, who have transmigrated, knock on his door.
They have just one simple request:
“Master, come with us to fetch the scriptures.”
From that moment on, Li Qing's life veers completely off course.
They hike through city streets, get lost at traffic lights, and feast at breakfast shops.
In the simplest way, they set out on a westward journey of their own through the modern world.
There are laughs at every turn and warmth all along the way.
In the end, mortals and divine disciples together embark on an unprecedented urban pilgrimage to fetch the scriptures.
