How to Get a Happy Ending in a Honmaru Without Corruption

This is a special Honmaru, with nearly the full roster of swords, each one at level 99 or higher after ascension. But one day, the Saniwa died. The government sent people to negotiate, and the swords said they would accept a successor sent by the government. Yet before long, the successors were either dead or sent back. Could this be a corrupted Honmaru?

With that concern in mind, the government sent its last Saniwa. They had to succeed in bringing the Honmaru under control. A Honmaru this powerful would be a threat if it could not be brought into their service. The Saniwa who arrived with this resolve went by the codename Lan. With him was the starter sword he had chosen, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro.

Includes, but is not limited to, sword x sword, Saniwa x sword, and sword x Saniwa. There is also plenty of invention, fantasy, and OOC content, as well as descriptions of the government and life inside the Honmaru, misunderstanding tropes, scheming, and potentially graphic G-rated content. Some material may involve the original sword spirits. This is purely a work of fantasy. Please take note.
