From Lowly County Yamen Runner to Number One in the Martial World

Snow falls across the human world, blanketing the new graves in Yixian and the scabbard of a young man's sword.

Zhou Mo's journey through the martial world began with his father's death.

A charge of treason beheaded a scholar who had spent his life teaching and shattered the peaceful future of the disciples of Yanshan. Brothers who once faced death together shared a bond strong enough to die for one another, yet some were betrayed against their will. His revered teacher took a lethal strike from a wicked cult to protect him, leaving behind only these words: “As long as your heart remains unbroken, there is no mountain you cannot cross.”

He once believed the sword in his hand was meant to protect the righteous path and defend the people.

Only later did he understand that first he had to take up his sword and cut through the swirling snow, to clear his father's name and seek justice in a world where right and wrong had been turned upside down.

Ahead lay the clash of blades in the halls of power, the wicked cult's deadly web, and the desperate path of a man alone.

Yet he still gripped his sword tightly.

A sword falls through the snow, its frosted edge reflecting the heart's first resolve.

Though ten thousand miles of frozen road lie ahead, he will cut through the endless winter night with a single sword.
