The Daoist Failed to Ascend and Became Cthulhu

My name is Li Yunsheng, the last Taoist priest on Mount Longhu.

My master said I was born with a Daoist constitution and destined to ascend to immortality.

I believed him.

Now I'm pregnant with a god.

The people of the Truth Society kneel when they see me, saying I'm the vessel for the descent of an Old One.

The surviving senior brothers of the Daoist sect run when they see me, saying the aura around me is more sinister than any demon's.

All I can do is hold my belly and say to the thing growing tentacles inside:

“Kid, can you settle down? Your dad still has to take the Taoist priest certification exam.”
