The Seventh Night at the Asylum

Lin Mo, a folklorist, receives an anonymously mailed ticket for an experience at the Seventh Ward, with a note reading, “Unravel the terror of seven nights, and the truth will reveal itself.” He intends to ignore it, but then notices the pattern of a window lattice from his childhood home appearing on the back of the ticket. At the same time, reporter Su Wanqing is investigating a series of bizarre sudden deaths when she discovers that one of the victims was clutching a fragment of the same ticket. Their clues converge, and the two decide to investigate the abandoned Seventh Sanatorium on the outskirts of the city.
