My father said something.
"The scariest thing about gambling is not losing money, but losing yourself."
I didn't understand it at that time.
I thought gambling was gambling, winning or losing was fate. Win the glory, lose and admit defeat.
It wasn't until I saw his body being thrown at the door that I understood——
There is never any fairness at the gambling table.
Some people are born with good cards, while others always have bad cards.
Someone sits in the dealer's seat and makes all the rules.
Some people can only be used as pawns to be manipulated and eaten.
And my dad, he spent his whole life trying to break those rules.
He won so much that it frightened those who made the rules.
So he died.
Died by "fellow sect", died by "betrayal", died by a well-designed game.
That night, the murderer said something to me before he left:
"If your dad loses, he has to die."
They said I was crazy because I never took away the money I won and gave it all back to those who were defrauded.
I don't even care.
I have only one goal——
Find the people who killed my father and make them pay.
Then, let there be less people like my father in this world.
There will be fewer families ruined by gambling, and fewer ordinary people being killed by traps.
Let there be no gambling in the world.
This is my story.
It is also a story about revenge, justice, and redemption.
If you have ever lost something to gambling, or know someone who has, I hope this story can give you something.
It's not chicken soup, it's not truth.
Just something my father said -
"Beyond the gambling table is the real world."

The story is very twists and turns and intriguing. The more I read it, the more I love it.
