Interstellar Insects: The Socially Anxious Male Lord Pretends to Be Cool Online

Two male leads, socially anxious fake CEO (a cutie) gong X outgoing “Flower of the Empire” (aggressively flirty) female insect shou.

Gu Xingxing, a socially anxious college student, dies suddenly and transmigrates into the body of an interstellar CEO, a male insect.

To stay alive, he’s forced to play the part: expressionless, taciturn, and unapproachable.

His inner monologue: Help, I can’t understand this contract! Someone get this insect out of here!

Then he meets the empire’s second prince: silver hair, violet eyes, and a terminal case of social butterfly syndrome, Ilyaser.

The empire’s “social butterfly” falls for him at first sight and launches an all-out courtship:

Gifts, dates, heroic rescues...

Gu Xingxing acts cold. “I don’t need that.”

His ears are red enough to drip blood.

Ilyaser smiles. “You’re so cute when you’re nervous.”

Gu Xingxing panics internally: I’m faking it! I really am faking it!

In a nutshell: The socially anxious CEO pushes his fake persona to the breaking point every day, only to be thoroughly wrapped around the finger of the empire’s number-one social butterfly.

[The icy demeanor is an act. The feelings are real.]
