An Ordinary Man’s Dream in the Stock Market

The stock market has never been a birthplace for legends. It is a battlefield where countless ordinary people struggle.

The protagonist, Fang Yuan, is 32 and an ordinary office worker in a mid-tier city. His mortgage, his child’s tuition, and his elderly parents’ medical bills weigh on him until he can barely breathe. By chance, he hears that a colleague has made money trading stocks, and steps into the market hoping to change his fate.

There, he meets people gambling their savings to pay for a family member’s treatment, people hoping for stocks to hit their daily limit so they can escape the hardships of life, some who briefly celebrate their gains, and others who lie awake all night over their losses.

They are clerks sneaking glances at stock quotes in office towers, market vendors calculating every rise and fall, and retirees hoping to give their children a little extra support. They weave every flavor of life into their daily routines, tasting its full range before screens flashing red and green.

This is a story of struggle, growth, and enlightenment.
