The Tang Dynasty's Hammer God: From Border Soldier to Guardian War God

On his first day as a low-ranking soldier in the Tang Dynasty, Zhou Cheng discovered he had the strength to lift a massive cauldron.

His superior ordered him to serve as cannon fodder and die. Instead, Zhou snatched an enemy general's eight-hundred-jin copper hammer. “This thing's much easier to handle than a geological hammer!”

A fearsome Tibetan general charged into battle. One swing from Zhou sent him and his horse three feet into the ground.

The border troops cheered: “Lord Zhou! The King of Hell's Hammer!”

The supervising censor stayed up all night writing a memorial: “Your Majesty, a divine general has appeared at the border. No one can withstand a single blow from his hammer!”

Zhou scratched his head as he looked at the dented copper hammer. “Um... can I get reimbursed for this? I'd like to order an even heavier one.”
