[Gentle, kindhearted little bodhisattva vs. devastatingly beautiful madman]
Five years ago, heavy snow sealed off the mountain.
Chao Yujing indulged the inexperienced young man as he clung to her, obsessively and relentlessly, reveling in their newfound intimacy.
Sweat rolled off Shen Yannian as his breathing grew ragged. “My sins are grave. I have profaned a deity.”
Knowing Chao Yujing was softhearted, he took advantage of her kindness and begged piteously for her affection:
“My bodhisattva, please save me.”
Five years later, they meet again after a long separation.
Chao Yujing sees a poor young man standing before her with a frail child in tow, and guilt floods her.
She wants to take good care of this suffering “widower and orphan,” even if it means giving up her arranged marriage to the Huo family’s powerful heir.
-
Shen Yannian stands in the night, secretly wondering: What should you do when someone steals the person you love right out from under you?
-
Later, on their wedding night.
Chao Yujing is left waiting in the bridal chamber.
That damn man is afraid his identity will be exposed, so he runs away.
For the first time, the living bodhisattva flies into a rage and sneers, “Mr. Huo and dogs are not allowed in this bridal chamber!”
-
Later still, Mr. Huo spends every day wondering how he should serve his wife tonight to get her to look his way one more time.
-
Jingjing, the most efficacious temple I’ve ever prayed at is you.
Huo Yunzhi
Good looking 💕💕 I hope Jingjing and Shen Yannian will be happy in the future
The plot is quite novel. The male and female protagonists get together quickly after reuniting. There is not a lot of emotional pull, and the two directions go very quickly. I like this very much. But the child of the male and female protagonist is only four or five years old, and the words he speaks are too mature and a bit inappropriate for his age group. Also, the people inside seem to be a bit crazy, and they all like the female protagonist. Maybe it is to better highlight the female Bodhisattva image, but there are too many, and it is already loved by everyone. But despite its flaws, it's still worth watching.
Beautiful writing and detailed description
Good review! The male and female protagonists are unwavering!
