The spoiled young heir of Shanghai versus the alluring actress of Beijing’s elite circle

[Younger man + Secret crush + Sweet romance and flirtation]

Jiang Jiu was born into a family of educators, but turned to the entertainment industry.

She struck out on her own for six years, weathering endless scandals while remaining a minor actress.

Just before her wedding, she received an anonymous message: her childhood sweetheart was cheating on her with her young niece.

She crashed her niece’s engagement party and set her sights on the groom.

She made her move and was rejected time and again, but only became more determined

When they first met, Jiang Jiu asked Jin Chao if he wanted a taste of her drink.

He turned her down, then pretended to be her ideal type and pursued her.

When they met again, she introduced herself: “Jiang Jiu. The Jiang from Jiang Taigong fishing.”

She declared that she would definitely catch this little fish.

Later, she joked, “As the wine grows stronger, so does the spring longing,” and tugged off his belt.

After that, she left an earring in his car, determined to keep their connection alive.

Later still, a twist of fate ruined his blind date,

and Jin Chao threatened and cajoled her into giving him a wife in return.

She walked into his trap, agreed to ten rules, and became Mrs. Jin.

Jiang Jiu thought their marriage was just a transaction, with each of them getting what they wanted.

Then the cracks began to show, and it turned out he had been plotting and luring her in every step of the way.

(Jin: So what if I fought tooth and nail? I’ve got the wife.)
