The "Seventh Alley" only exists at midnight on the seventh day of each month, and only those with "unfinished obsessions" in their hearts can see the entrance. There are seven shops in the alley, corresponding to seven kinds of human desires: memory, destiny, time, identity, emotion, life and death, and truth. Each shop can grant wishes, but at the cost of losing something more precious - and all costs will eventually converge on the "seventh customer" deep in the alley.
The protagonist Lin Shen, the brother of a girl who has been missing for seven years, accidentally entered the seventh alley in order to find traces of his sister. He discovered that his sister had been the "seventh guest" of the alley, and that he was being selected by the alley to become the new substitute...
