Slay Demons and Remove Three Evils: I Claim Demon Traits from the Start

[Decisive and ruthless] [Play the pig to eat the tiger] [Sharp-tongued and black-hearted]

Chen E is a demon hunter ranked at the very bottom of the Demon-Slaying List.

Poor as a church mouse, he takes a red warrant that no one else dares touch.

His escort is a girl of thirteen or fourteen. Anyone who gets close to her dies.

“Five thousand taels for a job that’ll get you killed? Only someone tired of living would take it. I just think the pay’s too low.”

What he doesn’t know is that ever since he killed his first demon from the Demon-Slaying List, he has been able to steal the talent of every one he kills.

Starting with his ninety-ninth kill.

His target: the Three Calamities of the Demon-Slaying List.

“Kneeling won’t get you a discount.”

“If it’s on the Demon-Slaying List, the rules are the rules.”

“I kill demons, not people. But I make no promises about anyone who gets in my way.”
