The Wasteland of the Mind: A Prison of Consciousness

Synopsis: The Mindscape Wasteland: A Prison of Consciousness

In 2156, neural grids cover 78% of the world’s population. With an implant chip, you can buy memories, sell emotions, and communicate through thought. Lose access to the network, and you’re as good as “dead” to the civilized world.

Lin Shen was once a top neural data engineer, until his wife, Su Wanyin, was “brain-erased” for exposing the truth: her consciousness was wiped clean, leaving only an empty shell. His own neural link was severed, and he was exiled to the unconnected lands known as the “Wasteland.”

There, he discovered an even more horrifying truth: every connection to the neural grid silently devours human consciousness. And the three corporate giants plan to achieve 100% coverage within a year.

As the whole world willingly connects to the prison, a group of forgotten, disconnected people become humanity’s last hope.

Disconnect or die? No. This time, we choose to burn the whole system to the ground.
