In 2077, the body is weak and the machine is soaring.
In the Kowloon Walled City where nerves and steel are intertwined, Su Ming is an anomaly.
He does not upgrade his prosthetic body or sell weapons. He only runs a cyber funeral parlor called "The Other Side".
His clients are another kind of "dead" in this city: the housekeeper AI with broken logic, the obsessive old singer, the laboratory creation with split personality... The "existences" that have been abandoned, forgotten, and struggling on the edge of the data abyss.
"Boss, this AI is almost turning into an electronic ghost, can it still be 'sent away'?"
"If it exists, there will be traces. The obsessions must be resolved, the data must be cleared, and then burn a stack of special 'binary money'. Five thousand credits, give them a decent end point."
Su Ming's left hand holds the "Cutting Shears" that can cut off data obsession, and his right hand twists the "Ancient Requiem" that guides AI to rest.
Facing the immortal technology that regards consciousness as a resource, and the gravediggers who regard AI as a heresy, he flicked the ashes:
"You call this recycling and purification."
"I call this encoffining."
"Tonight, I will burn another piece of dignified paper money for this cannibal city."
