National Fate: From the Start, I’m Gagula, Guardian of Blue Star

In the year 2333 of the Xia calendar, Blue Star’s resources were depleted, and the threat of a third world war hung over every nation.

At the moment the entire world stood on the brink of war, an irresistible supreme will enveloped all of Blue Star. The [Tokusatsu National Fortune Battlefield] had officially arrived.

The rules were simple and brutal: one Chosen One would be selected at random from each country, sent into a randomly selected tokusatsu instance, and bound to a character within it. The bound character’s affection, story completion, and faction victory or defeat would directly determine the rewards and penalties for national fortune.

- Clear an instance: your country receives vast resources, advanced technology, and enhanced physical abilities for its people. It may even obtain the supernatural powers from the instance.

- Fail an instance: the monsters within it invade your country’s reality, shrinking its territory, shortening its citizens’ lives, and possibly wiping the country off the map entirely.

At that moment, the comments in the Xia Kingdom livestream had already exploded.

Because the Chosen One randomly selected for the Xia Kingdom was me: Lin Mo.

No one knew that I was a transmigrator.

I had transmigrated into this world ten years ago, and people here knew almost nothing about tokusatsu. They only knew that in the first two national-fortune instances, every Chosen One on Blue Star had been wiped out in Armor Hero: Shadow and Light, and all the Chosen Ones who had selected Daigo in Ultraman Tiga had died horribly. They eventually reached an absurd conclusion: protagonists were death traps, and the more famous the character, the sooner they died. I alone knew that those people hadn’t died because the characters were useless. They had no idea how the story worked and had gotten themselves killed by acting blindly.
