We Fell in Love on the Run

“Rongyin, your maternal grandmother isn't feeling well. Would you go back in my place and see how she is?” Rongyin asked.

“Tonight,” said a dignified woman in a dark aubergine dress, her hair impeccably styled. “We're in a hurry, so pack your things right away. It's a long journey, and I've found you a guard. He's highly skilled in martial arts. Just follow his lead along the way. He'll be waiting for you at Shili Pavilion tonight.” Rongyin opened her mouth, about to ask if this wasn't all too sudden.
