The story takes place in the fictional coastal first-tier city "Haicheng", where capital is surging and wealthy families are everywhere. The three major families, Shen, Gu and Lin, control the city's economic lifeline. This is a world where money comes first and interests are exchanged. Love is particularly fragile in the face of huge family interests, but it is also the only variable that breaks all these rules.
