Synopsis

[Wangan, street racing on the Shuto Expressway, a blend of the Initial D series universe and its spin-offs, racing, character development, romance, car girls, and light novel]

To find his father, Longguo racer Lu Zechuan takes on a huge breach-of-contract debt and heads to Tokyo in search of his father and the man's Nissan Fairlady Z. Along the way, he encounters a special GT86 car spirit unlike anything he's ever seen, a gloomy girl who loves racing despite her poor skills, a girl chasing legends on the Shuto Expressway, and a mysterious, energetic girl who adores drifting on mountain roads.

Meanwhile, the driver of the legendary Z is watching it all unfold under cover of night.

A vast conspiracy hidden beneath the Shuto Expressway is about to begin.
