Me, Zhu Yuanzhang's Illegitimate Son? A Brutal Start

Transmigrate and become Zhu Yuanzhang’s illegitimate son? What a brutal start

From then on, a transmigrator who only wants to lie flat is forced to embark on a working life of “arranged marriages and a harem battlefield.” His catchphrase changes from “Doing nothing is the best” to “Father, your son is here to work, not to be a stud!”

The seven heroines each have their own charms:

First wife Liu Ruyan, daughter of a Jiangnan salt merchant, is sharp-witted and aloof. On their wedding night, she hands him a “marital partnership agreement,” but as they spend day after day together, she lowers her guard and gives him her heart;

Second wife Qin Yao, daughter of a retired military officer, is a highly skilled fighter with a fiery temper. She and Zhu Chen start off on the wrong foot, trading blows and barbs before becoming inseparable through life and death;

Second wife Su Wan'er, a gifted woman from the previous dynasty, bears a deep blood feud. After Zhu Chen saves her, she gently heals all his exhaustion;

There is also the bold and spirited prairie princess Murong Xue, skilled at riding and archery; the pure-hearted and kind-hearted healer Bai Ling, who would give her life to protect him; the famous courtesan Zhao Feiyan, a hidden Jin Yiwei agent who falls for him amid a web of deception; and Zhu Xiuning, Zhu Yuanzhang’s unruly and willful adopted daughter, who actively pursues him.

With Zhu Yuanzhang’s political schemes on one side and the undercurrents of court factions on the other, alongside the daily harem battlefield involving his seven lovely wives, Zhu Chen uses his modern way of thinking to thrive both in the Ming bureaucracy and among the women of his household.
