Journey to the West is a carefully packaged "god-making movement". The real battle to defeat the Buddha is not Sun Wukong, but the six-eared macaque. The real Wukong has been secretly refined by Tathagata in the real and fake Monkey King. His body and fighting strength were stripped away, leaving only a trace of his soul to be tortured.
