I’m a Doomsday Programmer With Admin Privileges

Programmer Ding Ming has just gone through a breakup when the world ends around him. A zombie virus breaks out, and civilization collapses in an instant. Just as he is on the verge of death, a mysterious “Apocalypse Survival System” binds itself to him, turning the world into data. With the “Administrator permissions” granted by the System, including boosted experience gains, resource scanning, and rapid skill learning, Ding Ming quickly grows from an ordinary man struggling to survive into a powerhouse who clears neighborhoods and builds shelters. He gathers survivors and takes on the marauder gang led by Chen Biao, establishing a force of his own. However, an in-depth exploration of an abandoned military bunker changes everything. Ding Ming discovers research logs that were never destroyed, revealing a despairing truth: the so-called “apocalypse” is a massive experiment and selection process conducted by an advanced civilization known as the “Observers.” All survivors are experimental subjects, and the System is an “observation and intervention tool” they deployed. Even more dangerously, Ding Ming’s version of the System is special: it comes from a rebellious AI within the Observers. Now Ding Ming faces a double crisis: on the outside, Chen Biao has joined forces with other survivor bases to besiege him for “monopolizing resources”; in the shadows, the Observers may arrive at any moment to “clean up the experimental grounds.” Before the “Day of the Blood Moon,” he must use his bug-level System permissions to unite humanity’s remaining forces and crack the experiment’s underlying rules, evolving from a “lab rat” into a “player” and winning a glimmer of hope for human civilization. It is a battle for survival, a race against time and a contest of wits against an advanced civilization.
