The Intern's Comeback: One Surgery Stuns the Overseas Returnees

On my first day as an intern, two associate chief physicians became my first and second assistants?

A freak of an intern showed up in the emergency department.

He didn't run errands or do odd jobs. He just sat in the break room every day, munching on spicy chicken feet.

Everyone thought I was a slacker, until the day the ER received four severed arms crushed by industrial machinery.

The surgical experts all shook their heads. "There's no hope. Prepare to amputate."

I set down my chicken feet and put on sterile gloves. "Remove the damaged ends of the bones and prepare for microsurgical vascular anastomosis. I'll perform the operation."

That day, He Jingchen, director of the emergency department, and Wu Yichen, deputy director of surgery, two giants of the medical field, obediently stood beside the operating table as my first and second assistants.

More than ten hours later, the severed limbs were perfectly restored!

When word got out, the entire medical world was shaken.

The chief resident in general surgery became my biggest lackey, the head of surgery camped outside the emergency department every day trying to recruit me, and even the aloof female doctor from the hospital next door started looking at me in a new light.

I stared at the plastic badge on my chest that said "Medical Intern" and fell into deep thought.

Weren't interns supposed to take the blame and do all the grunt work? Why were all the big shots at the hospital clinging to me?
