In the late autumn of 1927, Chen Yuanshan, a modern military technician, traveled to the foot of Jinggang Mountain and possessed an unemployed arsenal apprentice. Faced with the Red Army's extreme shortage of weapons and equipment, he took the initiative to shoulder the heavy responsibility of military construction in the rear.
