Pear Shadows Haunt the Soul

Born on Ghost Festival, carried in the womb for eleven months, I entered the world biting through my own umbilical cord.

Luohan Village believes only in spirit mediums, not in human lives.

At home, the pear blossoms are white. In the forbidden ground, they bleed red.

A blind man said I wouldn't live to see twenty.

My grandmother hated me to the bone, yet her soul scattered for my sake.

You think I'm a bringer of calamity?

The ones who truly devour people have always been human.
