The Rebel King

Play the pig to eat the tiger + patience and restraint + powerful minister + court power struggles + usurpation + rebellion.

Lin Chuan was a refugee, an ant struggling to survive.

One day, he entered the imperial court, seized power, and rose to a high position.

Having tasted the sweetness of power and seen the splendor of fame and fortune,

he could never turn back, nor did he want to let go so easily.

Court infighting, an emperor’s suspicions, and schemes and shackles at every turn.

From a nobody in the mire to the most powerful minister at court.

He would never surrender everything he had spent half his life earning for the sake of loyalty between ruler and subject.

If the world forced him into one dead end after another,

then he would seize power and stop at nothing.

If there was no road ahead, then he would seize the realm and forge a world of his own.
