Football: That's a Black Cat? More Like a Shady Shop

[Football] + [System] + [Coach] + [No female lead]

Lu Chen was originally the leader of an amateur team in 2026. Then a ball hit him in the head on a pickup field, sending him back to 2018 England, where he awakened the Black Shop System. At the time, the Black Cats, Sunderland, had been relegated twice in a row to League One. Club chairman Ellis Short was desperate to offload the hot potato, while wealthy clubs and investors steered clear, and no one dared take over. The young manager from the future activated the Black Shop System and secured 35 million in backing. By driving down the price and cutting the debts, he wrested the nearly bankrupt Sunderland into his hands.

No one could have imagined it:

Starting today, the Black Cats, Sunderland, would officially become a top-tier selling club!

Ellis Short: “China may not be the country with the best footballers in the world, but the Chinese are definitely the world's best businesspeople. Selling the club to Lu Chen was the decision I regret most!”

Ancelotti: “The third Galacticos team? The Black Cat Armada might be a more fitting name.”

La Masia Youth Academy: “We expect to shut down our youth academy in five years. There is only one youth academy in the world, and that's Black Shop Sunderland!”

The Chinese-born manager Lu Chen stood at the Stadium of Light and said with a smile: “The Black Cats are ready for business. If you've got the money, come on over. At the right price, I might even transfer too.”
