Divorced in the Seventies with a Cute Baby, She Has the Cold-Faced Officer Chasing After Her

[Period setting + Military marriage + Miracle doctor + Adorable child + Divorce crisis + Regretful ex-husband's pursuit]

Lin Wanxing, an heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in the 21st century, wakes up in the 1970s as a notoriously awful army wife in a military compound, known for causing trouble and acting spoiled.

From the start, she's pressuring her cold-faced military officer husband to divorce her and abusing their sweet three-and-a-half-year-old toddler!

Lin Wanxing slaps the table. “Fine, let's get divorced! I'm taking the little cutie with me!”

She assumes that after the divorce, the mother and child will starve on the streets. But with her astonishing acupuncture skills, Lin Wanxing brings people back from the brink of death and makes a fortune. She gathers medicinal herbs, opens a clinic, and cooks medicinal dishes, all while fattening up the scrawny little one until he's as round and white as a ball of glutinous rice.

Her cold ex-husband, who had agreed to divorce her because he was exhausted in both body and mind, now sees his dazzling ex-wife and not only refuses to leave, but shamelessly sidles up to her. “Honey, military marriages are hard to end. Why don't we make the best of it?”

The little one waves his chubby hand and shields Lin Wanxing. “Bad daddy, go away! She's my fairy mom all to myself!”
