The Seventh Night

Seven years ago, five of us high school classmates played a "spirit-summoning game," taking turns telling ghost stories at midnight. That night, we heard a sixth voice that belonged to none of us. From then on, every seven years, one of us would die under mysterious circumstances, in a manner that matched the story they had told back then. On the final night of the seventh year, only she and I were left. This time, it was my turn to tell a story.

This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental.
