Honkai Impact 3rd: I Will Bring the World's Colors Back

"Hi there~"

He turned around.

Her pink hair seemed to glow in the sunlight. A tiny ear peeked out from between her locks. Her pinkish-purple eyes curved into crescent moons as she looked at him, her gaze filled with pure curiosity and undisguised affection.

"My name is Elysia♪" She tilted her head and leaned a little closer. "You're so pretty. What's your name?"

Li's breath caught.

The chalk slipped from his hand and fell to the ground, breaking in two.

He stared at her, his violet eyes wide, his pupils trembling slightly. It was as if something had lodged in his throat, leaving him unable to speak. Something in his chest suddenly tightened, then burst open. The pain and longing buried in his heart, so deep that even he had nearly forgotten them, were ripped out into the open and laid bare beneath the September sun.

Tears welled up without warning.

At last...

I get to see you again.
