2049 AD, summer night.
Suddenly there is one more star in the Big Dipper.
Data from observatories poured into the monitoring centers of various countries. The star was not on any known star map. It just appeared out of thin air, hanging stably next to the North Celestial Pole in a way that violated the laws of physics, and its light was three times brighter than the North Star.
The International Astronomical Union temporarily named it "X-7", but another name has begun to circulate among the people - "The Eye of God".
