The story begins in an abandoned highway tunnel known as “Ghost Gate Pass.” In truth, the tunnel is a wormhole node connecting different timelines on Earth. Lin Mo, an overworked wage slave saddled with a huge mortgage, enters the tunnel by accident late one night and unwittingly activates the dormant [Space-Time Correction System].
Worldbuilding:
1. The laws of space and time: The universe’s history is not fixed along a linear path. Instead, it is riddled with “points of collapse.” The System exists to find “correctors” like Lin Mo, who drive the only available vehicle through time and space to repair these points of collapse.
2. The vehicle: Lin Mo’s Wuling Hongguang is more than just transportation: it is a “mobile base.” It has independent spatial-folding technology, and its interior can expand to include living quarters, an armory, and a workshop. Vehicle levels are: Common Iron (initial), Bronze (bulletproof/unlimited fuel), Gold (antigravity/solar-powered), and Diamond (interstellar travel).
3. Two-way influence: Lin Mo can bring modern items to the past, such as antibiotics, glass, and firearms, and bring ancient treasures back to the present to sell, solving his mortgage crisis. But he must never change major historical events, such as preventing Qin Shi Huang from unifying China, or he will trigger a space-time storm.
