It's a good idea. I'm tired of seeing zombies' superpowers in post-apocalyptic stories, but I can actually make mushrooms into the ceiling of a monster's combat power by hitting them. The pace is fast enough, and it's fun to slap people in the face. I can finish two chapters while eating, which is quite good.
Highly recommended! It has a dual-power heroine + a rebirth system, and comes with an army of super cute mutated plants, and the contrast between mushrooms and monsters is full. The plot is refreshing and not depressing. It has everything from monster fighting and upgrading, base exploration, and team bonding. Getting along with partners is warm and healing. The apocalyptic atmosphere is perfectly combined with warm daily life. The characters are likeable, the rhythm is comfortable, the ideas are novel, and the story is both stress-relieving and exciting. This post-apocalyptic heroine story is a must-have!
