Core settings:
World view: All things have spirits, things become refined when they grow old, and evil things become evil when they become resentful. In addition to the ghosts of living people, there are more "spirits" attached to old objects in this world. A knife that has killed thousands of people, a jade that has been buried for hundreds of years, and a drum covered with human skin have become "evil objects" because they carry too much resentment or obsession.
Occupation: Artifact restorer. They don't catch ghosts or draw talismans, they only repair objects. By repairing the damage of the evil object, untying the knots and restoring it from "evil" to "weapon". If the repair is successful, you can gain super powers or lifespan; if the repair fails, the body will die and become nourishment for evil creatures.
Core rules: No visible light (certain evil things), no sound (some evil things), and no living blood contamination during repair.
Protagonist: Chen Mo, the owner of an antique restoration shop called "Jingmo Zhai". He has a withdrawn personality and has a "spiritual vision" left eye that can see the memories and resentment left on objects.
Main plot: Chen Mo takes on various bizarre and murderous objects restoration commissions, starting with a red embroidered shoe, and gradually uncovers a "ghost world" hidden in modern society, as well as the shocking secret behind his own life experience.
