Haunted School: Forbidden Rules and Folk Demons

The moment transfer student Lin Yan stepped into Qingwu High School, he was bound by a set of campus rules so terrifying that no one dared defy them: Never use the west staircase after evening study. Never answer any calls from outside the window after the dorm lights go out. And never approach the old locust tree in the campus's northwest corner at midnight. Every rule came with a blood-red warning, and no one who broke one ever survived.

This high school, nestled in an ancient town deep in the mountains, concealed a sinister secret spanning more than a century. Its buildings had been constructed according to an ominous feng shui layout. What appeared to be an ordinary design was actually meant to suppress the local folk demons. Generations of students and teachers had barely clung to life within these unseen rules. Strange disappearances were frequent, leaving behind only bizarre notebooks covered in bloodstains and frenzied writing.

As Lin Yan stubbornly pursued the truth, one bizarre mystery after another erupted across campus: an old children's song drifting from empty classrooms in the dead of night; ancient folk texts appearing out of nowhere in the library's restricted section; an unnamed evil god idol enshrined in an abandoned shrine behind the mountain; and a sinister sacrificial rite passed down in secret through generations of the ancient town. Every clue pointed to a campus massacre from decades ago that had been deliberately covered up, and to the sealed-away origins of the supernatural.

The rules were quietly rewritten. Evil spirits broke free of their restraints, and the feng shui formations gradually failed. The people around him, from classmates and teachers to the roommates he saw every day, began to reveal their bizarre true faces. Forced into a deadly contest, Lin Yan struggled to survive amid cold, forbidden rules, horrifying supernatural events, and sinister folk traditions. He vowed to tear away the layers of deception surrounding Qingwu High School and uncover the ultimate truth behind the eerie fog. But he never realized that from the moment he stepped through the school gates, he had already become a key piece in the evil spirits' game, trapped with no way out.
