The Good Mother-in-Law System: This Villainess Wants No Part of It

Soul transmigration, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and everyday family life.

In her previous life, Lin Shan was a truly awful daughter-in-law. She threw her weight around at her husband's family home, encouraged her own mother to bully her younger brother's wife until the woman wanted a divorce, and even stole her gold earrings.

Karma caught up with her. After leaving her family home, she was crushed to death on the spot. When she opened her eyes, she had somehow traveled to 2015 in a parallel world and become a shrewish mother-in-law with the same name.

Her new son was an abusive husband who beat and berated his timid wife, Sun Qian, every day.

Just as Lin Shan came to her senses, a System voice rang out:

[The Good Mother-in-Law System has forcibly bound itself to the Host. You are now linked to your daughter-in-law, Sun Qian. Every grievance, beating, and moment of despair she suffers will be yours to feel as well.]

After saying this, the System vanished.

From then on:

When her son raised a hand against his wife, Lin Shan would be the first to double over in pain.

When her daughter-in-law was berated and cried in distress, Lin Shan would feel so stifled she could barely breathe.

When her daughter-in-law grew desperate and wanted a divorce, Lin Shan would be even more distraught than she was.

She used to bully her mother-in-law, then go home and egg her own mother on to bully her younger brother's wife. Now she was suffering the consequences in full.
