Lin Xuan was a sage born at the dawn of heaven and earth. He helped Pangu create the heavens and Nuwa create humanity. During the apocalyptic catastrophe brought on by invading demons from beyond the world, he used his own body to mend the breach in the sky, then wielded his sage's soul to perform the mighty spell "Severing Heaven from Earth." He sealed the world's spiritual energy and drove out the demons from beyond, securing ten thousand years of growth for all living beings in the mortal realm.
Now Lin Xuan's soul has awakened, and he has returned to the human world. He adopts an abandoned baby, Lin Wanwan, and raises her as his granddaughter. On a bus ride home one day, he is pressured to give up his seat to Su Sisi, a "viral internet celebrity" and "international supermodel," and is condemned across the internet.
Meanwhile, as Lin Xuan draws the attention of countless netizens, his true identity is finally exposed!
