Mysterious Lotus Casebook: The Sutra of Deliverance

Still a hilarious, satisfying read, and still no mercy for anyone who wronged Li Lianhua.

The romance is more nuanced and carefully developed this time, and feels less forced.

That’s because the author has learned how to make Li Lianhua go mad chasing his love back with sound reasoning behind it.

Note: There’s no chasing-her-after-the-breakup arc in the main story. The extras are still undecided.
