At Seventeen, I Lost My First Love and My Courage

At three in the morning, Lin Xingwan deleted the 103rd opening she'd written for her story, while the headphones played on a loop the voice she'd been listening to for seven years.

“This melody reminds me of the person I lost at seventeen.”

At seventeen, she lost two things: her first love, and the courage to be herself.

At twenty-three, she met the owner of that voice in an old bookstore, and found a chance to begin again.

Would she repeat the past, or turn her youth into a sweet romance that was still waiting for its happy ending?

This time, she decided to hold the pen herself and never let go.
