A Mortal's Journey to Slay Immortals: Crossing the Clouds

I wrote this after watching the animated adaptations of Zhu Xian and A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality. I felt the Zhu Xian anime left a lot of gaps in parts of its worldbuilding, which gave me the idea for this story. I've added some plot elements and place names from the game World of Guigu Eight Desolations (sob, it's definitely not because I couldn't think of names). Some of the techniques and magical treasures the protagonist gets later on will be a bit like those used by that old fellow Qing Yilao. After all, the flying needles in the A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality anime looked way too cool.
