Western Fantasy: Why Is a Cultivator Like Me Managing a Desert?

[Harem] + [Farming] + [Cultivation] + [Slow Burn] + [Daily Life]

(Background) Li Yang transmigrated, bringing his ancestral Daoist scripture with him to another world. A civil war had broken out there, and he thought he was as good as dead. Instead, by cultivating with the scripture, he managed to develop spiritual energy and became the only Cultivator in this other world.

So he “decisively” joined the imperial loyalists, grew stronger step by step, and eventually helped the empire put down the rebellion.

(Story begins) When rewards were handed out, the stingy emperor enfeoffed Li Yang with a barony in a remote region.

When Li Yang arrived at his “fief,” he found nothing but endless yellow sand and a population of people who looked like refugees.

Li Yang resented the emperor, but since he believed in making the best of wherever life took him, he vowed to turn his fief into the richest place in the entire empire!

(Later on, the protagonist will lead a northern campaign from Sand Territory, conquer the empire, and become emperor himself, so rest assured, dear readers!)
