Natural disasters strike around the globe, leaving everyone’s lives hanging by a thread. The only path to survival left to humanity is the game instances that have appeared.

Su Yun had planned to find a job and begin a lifetime of being an overworked office drone.

But the disaster game instances arrived, and all her plans fell apart before she could even get started.

Now that things have come to this, she decides to stay positive and make the best of it.

She steels herself, fighting monsters and collecting supplies in the instances by day, then training in memory beads and increasing her combat power at night.

Thanks to her habit of never “wasting” anything, she stockpiles every useful supply she can find.

Along her journey through the game, Su Yun meets Xiao Hei, Xiao Bai, and Chaoxing, whom she hasn’t seen in a long time.

When she looks back from the finish line, she realizes she’s no longer an ordinary person.
