Reborn as Yang Guo, I Only Love Guo Fu

At the cliffs of Heartbreak Valley, Yang Guo watched Guo Fu clutch his corpse and weep until she vomited blood. Only then did he finally understand how foolish he had been.

He had resented her spoiled ways and hated her for accidentally injuring him, yet he had forgotten: when they first met on Peach Blossom Island, she was the first to stand up for him, whip in hand, when Quanzhen disciples bullied him. When he was poisoned by the Passion Flower and downcast, she secretly slipped him half a warm osmanthus cake. And even after he had coldly pushed her away again and again, when Xiangyang was beset by danger, she was still the first to shout his name and rush to protect him.

Given another life, Yang Guo cast off all his arrogance and regrets. His heart and eyes held only Guo Fu.

On Peach Blossom Island, when Ke Zhen'e scolded Guo Fu, he stepped in front of her and said softly, “Fu, you did nothing wrong. If anyone should be punished, punish me.” Taking the whip from her hand, he gazed at her tenderly. “From now on, you may only tap me lightly with this whip.”

At Quanzhen, when Zhao Zhijing picked a fight with Guo Fu, Yang Guo shielded her and said coldly, “Anyone who wants to touch her will have to get past me first.”

In Heartbreak Valley, when someone else tried to win her favor, he swept Guo Fu into his arms and smiled tenderly. “Sorry, my heart belongs only to my Fu.”

Guo Fu looked utterly baffled and couldn’t help asking, “Yang Guo, why are you acting so strangely today?”

Yang Guo lowered his head and gently patted the top of her hair, his voice firm yet doting. “It’s not strange. I was just too foolish before. In this life, I only want to cherish you.”

In this life, he gave up fame in the martial world and titles under heaven. He desired no one else and clung to no past. His heart and eyes belonged to Guo Fu alone.

He would keep her safe, cherish her with all his heart, change her fate, and make up for her regrets. In this life, Yang Guo would love only Guo Fu, faithful until death.
